Within walking distance of The Cathay, is an awesome budget hotel, Hangout @ Mt Emily.

This no-frills, award-winning hotel has received rave reviews for it’s quirky but super friendly facilities and of course, uber-affordable rates (that include breakfast!). We have arranged for an even special-er rate for SEA Jam 2010 participants, but you must book ASAP because being so cheap and so close to town, they do book out fast.

This is a No Frills hotel - the rooms have no TV, mini bar, room services or amenities like toiletries, hair dryer etc. However, bath towels and soap/shampoo in dispensers are available.

There is a common area on level 2 where guests may enjoy daily movie screenings or TV programs on a plasma screen, surf the Internet for free (24 hr), enjoy complimentary coffee/tea or use the self service laundry.

In line with their no frills concept, please be advised that the bath towels and bed sheets are not changed daily.

Check in time is at 1500 hr and check out time is at 1100hr.

All rates are inclusive of breakfast. Rooms are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
